Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority

From The Executive Director

A Work In Progress

Demolishing blighted residential housing units to make way for redevelopment is just one of the many achievements of the Dayton Metropolitan Housing Authority over the past few years.

In fact, DMHA demolished a total of 818 blighted structures during Fiscal Years 2008 and 2009.

Demolishing outdated housing - and then revitalizing the many remaining housing units - are important steps toward stabilizing housing markets in our region.

These activities move us even closer toward our goal of providing decent, safe and affordable housing for all DMHA clients.

In the coming months, I'll be sharing more about DMHA's progress toward our goals and our ongoing plan for continuous improvement.
